Launching: Stripe for Magento 2 Extension

ParadoxLabs, whose payment extensions power over $1 billion in annual transactions and are trusted by thousands of Magento merchants around the world, is excited to announce the upcoming release of our new Stripe for Magento 2 extension.

Launching publicly in 2011, Stripe has become a force in the online payments arena. With no setup or monthly service charges, and instead taking a simple-to-understand calculation (2.9% + $.30) per transaction, Stripe is has quickly become one of the most used payment gateways in the world. It ranks second globally only to PayPal, and is used by thousands of clients, including some major players like Target, Blue Apron, Warby Parker, and Lyft.

The latest release from our payment gateway experts at ParadoxLabs, the new Stripe extension allows for full integration between Stripe and Magento 2. This extension saves credit card data, giving returning customers the convenience of stored credit cards and rapid checkout. It also allows your staff to quickly process orders, reorders or returns, without needing to ask customers for credit card info once it’s stored (even for guests!). Stripe for Magento 2 also works with our Adaptive Subscriptions extension, meaning merchants have the potential use Stripe to accept payments for subscription items as well as regular purchases.

“Customers have been requesting a Stripe extension for Magento 2 for some time now.” said Josh Kirchner, ParadoxLabs’ Head of Business Development. “We’ve been monitoring Stripe’s growth and capabilities for the last year or so. Now that they’ve become the preferred payment method of over half of Alexa’s top 100 sites, we knew this would be a powerful tool for our clients and customers.”

The extension is set to be released in early June.

Like all of our extensions, Stripe for Magento 2 includes free support and upgrades for the lifetime of the extension. Our source code is 100% unencoded (viewable source). When you purchase this extension, you get full access to view and modify the source any way you need to (within the terms of the license).
